XVII Pan American Nursing Research Colloquium

As we celebrate this extraordinary International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies is honored to host the XVII Pan American Nursing Research Colloquium in beautiful Miami Beach, Florida. This prestigious biennial conference will unite some of the brightest minds from across the Americas in one fantastic location from November 10 to 13, 2020.

Our school proudly hosted the colloquium’s first U.S. appearance in 2012, drawing nearly 1,000 registrants representing nursing professionals and students from 40 countries worldwide. Eight years later, we are equally proud to bring the colloquium back to the United States for a second time, once again in Greater Miami, an appropriate location, given the region’s reputation as an international gateway for Latin America and Europe.

Our colloquium theme, Nursing 2020: Legacy of Excellence for Universal Health (Enfermería 2020: Legado de Excelencia para la Salud Universal), underscores the tremendous potential for this gathering to foster international research collaborations and support the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and PAHO/WHO mandate for universal health.  As a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Human Resources Development and Patient Safety, we are committed to collaborating with global partners to promote nursing education, research, leadership, and health care workforce development in the Americas.

Please review this site for more information on how to attend, present your work, and make the most of your visit. I hope to see you this November!
